Design

With a dimension of 111.8x56.8x18.8 MM it can’t be considered as tiny but it’s a compact phone loaded with a bulk of features. It weighs less compared to its size and comes on the lighter side being comfortable to handle.

The comfort by which we can handle the phone is worth mentioning. Sleek model with curve edges and smooth surface makes it shining and attractive. The thickness is considerable and not over sized.

The colour combination is indeed splendid. With black on the front and silver at the back gives it a dual attractive look. Coating is done in a fine manner that the colour doesn’t fade or come out easily. The design in the front is simple but eye catching.

The touch screen display on the front is 3.2 inches, with a QVGA Full Touch Screen. This reduces the task of pressing and enables light touch to control the features. The sensitivity of the touch screen is excellent. Even a slight touch is registered and specific action is performed. Screen surface is smooth and shiny adding to its elegance.

The image quality is of high resolution with good enough brightness and contrast to lighten up the face of the screen. At the bottom two buttons are present to attend and reject calls with good press back function. The track ball can be used for the scroll function effectively.

The crystal clear sound clarity output is splendid and is very much audible. The phone is enabled with loudspeaker on the front top side above the screen. In addition there are speakers on the back as well as on right and left side of the phone. This provides maximum sound output clarity from all sound output ports without distorting the clarity. Surround sound features can come in handy and is clearly heard to a distance.

On the left edge of the phone there are buttons for projector & for increasing and decreasing the volume. Along with it is a slot for inserting memory card.

The phone is capable of extending its memory storage by the dual memory card feature. It can therefore accommodate large files and backup data.

The right edge is left bare while on the back side inbuilt flash is enabled to capture pictures even in dim light. Dual camera is available on the back as well as in front so that perfect self portrait snaps can be taken.

Messaging, phonebook and battery

Being a fully touch screen phone the message functions are made easy by a keyboard visually displayed while typing the message. The MMS facility is automatically activated when the multimedia option is selected. Automatic text prediction options are available so that messages can be typed faster and in simpler way with less effort.

The email facility is also enabled making it much simpler to check our daily mails no matter where ever we are. Email app can be loaded to make it possible to handle multiple inbox. Email notification can be enabled so that we get alerted whenever a mail is received.  The email functions accessibility is very user friendly and visually pleasing.

The phone book can store quiet a lot of information. It has the capacity to store exactly 3000 contacts. This space allocation is pleasing as we can store a lot of contacts without copying to the sim. There are options to add IM name and address and other personal details. While a particular contact is selected the various stored details are listed out in a perfect manner. It helps to store and retrieve maximum information in a quicker way.

The phone comes with a Li-on 2000 mAh Battery. The standby time of the battery is appreciable. Battery backup life is necessary during emergency situations either to make a call or to operate any functions. The battery also provides a prolonged talk time till the battery drains out. The battery can be charged through USB port also. This provides an alternate source to charge the battery. The battery life is so important as it consumes more charge during projecting and while operating other functions.

Camera, Music, Video and Connectivity

  

The phone comes with a 2.0 Mega Pixels with Flash Light. Dual camera feature makes it possible to take self portrait pictures in a perfect way. The camera resolution is 1600 x 1200 Pixels which makes the pictures taken more lively and clear. The image resolution is maintained even if the picture is zoomed in. The pictures taken can be edited using various editing tools available. Extra zoom option is also available.

The inbuilt flash at the back side of the phone helps to take clear image even in dim light. The flash close to the camera lens throws a beam of light so as to capture the lively images in the best way. The digital zoom feature also adds to the beauty of the captured image.

The video player supports MP4 and 3GP formats. The recordable option is also available and recording time is considerably longer depending on the memory card inserted. The video images are impressive to see on large screen and with better resolution. The video quality is good and file format conversion facility is available. Tv and radio analog recording features are integrated. Wireless FM feature of the phone enables hearing radio through loud speaker.

Despite its size of the phone you got all the connectivity features. GPRS feature is available which can be used for small purpose of browsing net. The GPRS feature can be integrated with navigation app so that finding path while travelling can be made easy. Files can be transferred to other devices through Bluetooth option. It comes with v2.0 with A2DP, AVRCP, FTP enabled. Wireless protocol option is also available making ways to various type of establishing connection. Infra red port is not available as Bluetooth feature takes care of the file transfer option in a splendid way. USB cable provides a connectivity to transfer files and data from phone to pc or any other external connective port device.

MP3 songs and polyphonic sounds are supported by the phone. The output sound clarity is splendid through the loudspeakers. Equalizers are available to change the tone and clarity of sound output. The MP3 player can be used to make a list of songs according to our choice. The audio files management is done in a decent manner so that it provides user friendly access. The shaking option helps to change songs in a single shake. The MP3 player automatically locates the music files no matter wherever they are stored. This feature reduces the task of finding out the music files stored in different locations manually.

The gallery supports finger scrolling by which we can skip or go through the images with a single slide of the finger to the right or left. With this feature we need not return to the default view every time we see an image file. Double tap with the finger on the screen activates the zoom in view of the image.

Other special features

The social networking features provided includes the Google map. This feature can be used to track the path while driving to a particular location. The various short cuts and different ways to reach the destination are visually displayed making it easy to find the paths. NimBuzz, FaceBook, eBuddy features are embedded to stay connect with your friends at any point of time no matter wherever you are.

The phone also supports games and java app games for entertainment purpose. The browser supported in WAP/Opera. Tv channels can be viewed on the phone. A recording feature is added so that programs can be recorded for future viewing. The document viewer is available to view various document files like word. Ebook reader is an added feature enabling the access of certain files.
