Techberry AK100 is the latest mobile phone from the company that comes packed with all the features that one needs to experience convenient communication. This phone comes in bar form factor and supports dual SIM capabilities. The phone also resembles the blackberry model.

Design

The Techberry AK100 phone has a weight of 85 gms. The phone comes with a 2.2-inches QVGA screen, as well as a keypad of full Qwerty.

The phone is also enabled with a trackpad for easy navigation. . The processor of the Techberry AK100 is at frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz. Business people can find this phone handy that too at a reasonable price.

Even though the body is wide it has all the latest features enabled. It comes with a dual sim facility as well.

The colour combination is attractive with a red and black combination. The red colour of the panel brightens up the front face of the phone. 

The resolution of the phone is considerable with well balanced contrast and brightness which can be manually adjusted. A camera lens it attached to the top right end corner mainly used for self portrait images.

The back side of the phone is in elegant black colour with a 2 mega pixel camera. Towards the right of the lens we have the LED flash which brightens up the images in dim light.

The phone has a 2.0 Mega Pixels dual Camera for capturing photos and videos. The camera resolution measures around 1600 x 1200 Pixels enabling clarity images. A digital zoom option with LED flash light makes the captured images lively.

Platform for this phone supports Java applications. In built games are available for entertainment purpose. The phone enabled with WAP/Opera Browser comes in handy while browsing the internet.

The phonebook for this phone has a capacity to store upto 2000 entries. Other personal details can also be stored. This enables the user to have a quick glance at the details of a contact by just selecting it.

Memory, Message and Battery

The internal memory of the phone is 80 MB. There is an option to extend the storage capacity of the phone up to 4GB external memory card by T-Flash card slot. The total memory comes up to almost 5GB storage of data.

The keypad is designed in such a way that messaging can be done easily. The keys are designed similar to keyboard model of computer so that emails and sms can be typed quickly and efficiently. The MMS option is enabled and can be send as multimedia message. The automatic text prediction facility is available to ease the work of typing.Email facility is enabled so that we can check our mails and manage our inbox. Easy access of social networking sites is made possible through Google Map, NimBuzz, FaceBook, eBuddy options inbuilt in the phone.

The battery of this phone is Li-ion 1500 mAh battery. The capacity of the battery is appreciable giving a standby of 5 days and performance of talk time upto 5-6 hours. 

Music, Video and Connectivity

MP3, Polyphonic and MIDI file types are supported by the phone for playing music. The output sound clarity is spectacular through the speakers inbuilt in the phone. Adding to the entertainment video player is available supporting MP4 format. The video resolution in commendable. Equalizers are available as an option for varying the tone of music. Playlist can be saved in a separate place for easy access. The shaking control feature enables users to change a song to previous or next by a single shake.

The MP3 player has the facility of audio recording. The inbuilt radio feature comes with a FM radio recording feature. Songs from the FM can be recorded and stored in the phone. The sound output can be via the headset or the speakers.

The phone also supports GPRS and Bluetooth connectivity of v2.0 with A2DP, AVRCP, FTP enabled. Wireless protocol enabled can be used for seamless transfer of data. The USB provides hassle free connectivity to the phone.
